Policies

Policies are a good way to protect our most basic ideas and values when it comes to roleplaying. Below you will find a list of all of our policies. Keep in mind that policies may be added to or deleted from in accordance to any amendment passed in the commission board, so keep an eye on this regularly. Any infraction of our policies will result in a warning for the first offense and a sit down with the commission board for further offenses. In more severe cases, it may result in complete excommunication.

Naming Policy: Our naming policy is very simple to follow. When you are roleplaying, your character must have a viable name. For example: Susan Trump would be a viable name, while Susan Tramp would not. Use common sense when naming your character. You cannot name your character after a famous person, either. This means characters named "Clinton Bill" would not be acceptable.

Maturity Policy: Keep in mind this is a video game. Do not get irritated at someone because of something they do to you or your friend in the roleplaying universe. If you choose to do an action based on OOC biasedness, there will be harsh disciplinary action taken - sometimes upon both sides if the other party is at blame as well.

Dresscode Policy: Dress your character up like you would dress anybody in that role up. A cop would not be dressed like a gangster (unless he is undercover), while a homeless man would not be dressed like a billionaire. For more specifics, follow your crew leader's dress code that he/she has set up for you.

Banned Weapons Policy: This is Grand Theft Auto - the game in which you can pull a rocket launcher out of your buttocks and a minigun from your pocket. However, in the roleplay universe, we play via realistic terms. A gangster will not have a rocket launcher, while a cop would not have an AK47. Use weapons that are logical for your role/organization to use. The only weapons we do not allow are miniguns, tank usage, and fighter jet usage. Anything else is fair game so long as it is deemed logical for the situation and has a good reason for being in the storyline.

Common Sense Policy: Use common sense when roleplaying. Do not roll your car fifty times and drive off - you would most likely be injured from such a crash. Running constantly would also result in you running out of breath - not everyone is a marathon runner.
